Real Parties ~ Star Wars

6 Feb

TJ’s Star Wars 7th Birthday party was a hit! Everything came together and looked great. But most importantly, TJ had a blast with all his friends. Check out the party details……

Light Saber cupcakes

The desert table. R2D2 cake and light saber cupcakes. The poster is about 25-30 years old! It used to hang in my husband’s room when he was TJ’s age. I strung oversized 18″ balloons from the ceiling and lined the wall with black wrapping paper for the backdrop.

R2D2 cake.

The “death star” pinata I made for the party. Keep an eye out for the DIY tutorial later this week.

Yoda Soda: lime sherbet and sprite. Even the adults (myself included) were sipping on the Yoda soda.

The Food: light saber hot dogs, saber grapes, padawan pizza, space puffs (Cheetos), Darth maul dip, Yoda soda and Jedi juice.

The Tables: I draped the awesome Jedi robes Ari Cortes made for the party on the chairs. Ari made 12 robes, yes…12 robes and they were all perfect! She is a great friend!!! Each of the kids were given a robe and light saber as the party favors. I purchased the sabers at Michael’s craft store (make sure to use the 40% off coupon).

Jedi training with Tad. It turned into the “attack Tad” training.

Attack of the death star!!!!!

Cake time!

Last but not least, Princess Leia x 2.
